#9. The Future Of Money
Unless you’ve been living in a cave that doesn’t have WiFi for the last few years, you will be aware of things like blockchain, cryptocurrency and Bitcoin.
You won’t necessarily understand them (and that’s fine, because most of us don’t), but you’ll understand that this technology has been dubbed as the future of money.
We are entering a new era of software and currency integration and Neha Narula provides some insight into how it works and what the future might look like as technology pushes the innovation in money out to the edges. This talk is a couple of years old, but still provides a good introduction into cryptocurrency, if the concept is still new to you.

Do you ever discuss your salary with your colleagues? I’m guessing that if you live in North America or Europe, you probably don’t, since this is pretty much a taboo subject all across the Western world.
But in this short TED talk, David Burkus questions the cultural assumptions around keeping salaries secret and makes a compelling case for why salary transparency actually makes for a better workplace for both the employees, the organization and society as a whole.
